Having worked alongside Cathy Kipp on many campaigns, I know she has the tenacity and work ethic to effectively represent HD 52 at the Capitol. She has 7 years experience of policy making experience on the Poudre School board, and has fought to increase statewide school funding. Through this work and her experience on the school board , Cathy has developed relationships at the Capitol and understands how to work across the aisle to get things done. Cathy will work hard for our kids, our health care, our environment, and our community. She is a dedicated public servant and will be a responsive, and thoughtful Representative. ~ Kristin Stephens

Cathy has been a champion for the people of Fort Collins, from working for Amendment 73 to bring more equitable funding to education across the state, to supporting local families in need here in Fort Collins. As the leader of the legislative committee on the Poudre School Board, she has a deep understanding of the inner workings of the State House, and has the diverse set of skills necessary to succeed there. I have had the privilege to work with Cathy in many capacities regarding students, families and community issues. These topics range from behavioral/mental health issues and suicide prevention. Over the years, I have observed Cathy’s ability to find solutions to issues, which resulted in fairness for what is right for all parties involved and she communicates that with clarity. She understands the importance of navigating and facilitating multiple systems, and the role everyone plays for us to work together as a community. Cathy is always objective and concise when a decision needs has to be made and gives supporting arguments as to why she made the decision.
