Unlawful Executive Order Attempting to Supercede State Election Jurisdiction and Limit Voting Access

The Trump Administration has signed an executive order intended to supersede the jurisdiction of States to operate, conduct, and regulate elections in the United States by placing the White House in charge of Colorado’s elections. It claims to block funding for elections for states that do not comply. The United States Constitution, Article 1, Section 4, dictates that only states and Congress can make or alter the “time, place, and manner” of holding federal elections.
